French Republican CalendarPrivacy Policy

This policy describes what information French Republican Calendar receives from the people who use it, and how that information is handled.

The app collects nothing. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. It makes no network requests.

What the app stores

Two settings, held on your device:

• the language you selected
• whether you have seen the introduction

These are not transmitted anywhere. They are removed when you delete the app.

Permissions

The app requests none. It does not ask for location, camera, microphone, contacts, or notifications.

Third parties

The app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking software, and no third-party software development kits. No information is shared with anyone.

The app can open links in your browser, to these sites:

• Wikimedia Commons
• Gallica (Bibliothèque nationale de France)
• Persée
• French Wikisource
• the Internet Archive
• the Revolutions podcast
• gus.siteless.co

Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you are there.

The app can also open your email program, addressed to me. If you send an email, I have your email address, and I use it to reply.

Crash reports

The app contains no crash reporting software, and I do not receive crash reports.

If you have enabled analytics sharing with Apple, iOS may send Apple diagnostic information about the apps on your device. That is governed by Apple's privacy policy. It can be changed in Settings, under Privacy & Security, then Analytics & Improvements.

Retention and deletion

No information is collected, so none is retained and there is nothing to request the deletion of. The two settings above are removed with the app.

The app asks for no consent, so there is none to withdraw.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.
